House Party update
Senior high students, come on out! The House Party is rolling along, this week at the Granger house, from 7-9'ish. If you need directions, click here (directions have you starting at the church). See you there.

I will try to post some of the God-stories that we share each week. Last week was very cool, getting to hear what God is doing in the lives of so many of us!

Clay will be available at XStream this week
The newest edition of Clay is out, and we have some of the first copies. This is Janet and Andy Mylin's God-sized dream - a magazine for young women, written from a Christian perspective. It's good...See Kim to get yours soon. They won't be around for long!

OK, get in the van!
Woohoo, we're on our way. Let's meet at the church at 5, ready to load up and hit the road. Praise God that the weatherfolks were wrong!

A few reminders:
1. Either eat before we leave, or bring a bag lunch for the ride down.
2. You will also need a few dollars for a meal at Blue Knob. Since we changed our ski times (skiing through dinner instead of after), we need to juggle how we do meals...We'll cover breakfast and lunch Saturday, but you'll need to eat at the lodge for dinner.
3. If you haven't turned in your permission/medical release form, click the link to the left of this post, fill it out, and bring it with you this afternoon (I'm being optimistic!) when we leave.
4. If you want a snack tonight at the skating rink, you can buy one from their concession stand.
5. Please, pack lightly. We're on a ONE BAG LIMIT, and the bag can't be the size of Milwaukee!

Let's have some fun!

Ski Trip update...11:48 am
HOPE!

It looks like we are getting a little warmer temps than predicted. We are going to wait a few more hours to see if this holds and the roads are drivable. Stay tuned. I will post an update by 3 pm to let you know.

Ski Trip News
This is NOT the news you fear! But it's not the news you want to hear, either! We are in a holding pattern due to the coming storm. IF we get the ice they say is coming, we will NOT be going overnight for the retreat. We will make that call by noon tomorrow. You can check back here at noon to get an update.

We will check the weather Saturday morning to see if the roads are going to be clear enough for us to go skiing at Blue Knob. If they are, we'll leave the church around 11 Saturday. If they are not, we will try to do something locally. Check the website around 10:30 Saturday for an update.

If you believe in praying for the weather, pray away! We prayed tonight at my house!
