Amazing Grace
Great Flash piece about Philip Yancey's book, What's So Amazing About Grace.

I like Andrew Jones.
He makes me think. Here's a poem from him.

Give Me My Story

You want a statement to sum up the mission of God.
Go ahead.
Find your statement.
Make one up to help you feel secure inside your safety cage of words
belted in by cords of cliches,
locked up by logos lifted from sunday school memories.

But give me a story
Give my friends a story so that they are not sentenced to meaningless lives.

The Pirate
Here's a link to a good article/essay on Piracy--not Johnny Depp or the baseball team from the 'burgh, but downloading music and software without paying for it. What do you think about it? I know that I've done it, and that I've stopped. Let me hear from you. Use the comments, and we can all read your post.

I think this Boundless webzine might be one of my new favorite places to visit on the web. I spent most of the morning reading from the site. You might want to check it out...

Baseball, Steroids, and Jesus
From the Atlanta Braves clubhouse...
Julio Franco on Andy Van Slyke's accusations made on a San Francisco radio station that Franco has used steroids, in March 5 Atlanta Journal-Constitution: "Tell Andy Van Slyke he's right – I'm on the best juice there is. I'm juiced up every day, and the name of my juice is Jesus. ... Next time you talk to him, tell him the steroid I'm on is Jesus of Nazareth."

Yeah, that's right. Jesus can hit the curveball!

Feel the Power is Here!
Jon Pritikin (our Camp Crosstraining 2002 speaker) is in town to do a few school assemblies and an evening rally this Wednesday. He performed feats of strength and spoke at Penns Valley today, and will be at State High tomorrow morning. The evening rally will be at the Assembly of God church on Whitehall Road from 7-8:30 Wednesday night. Jon will be sharing his story of how God has changed his life, as well as performing some jaw-dropping feats of strength. Don't miss this!

What's up with the creepy baby in The Passion?
