Camping this Friday for Senior High
Show up at the Himes Residence around 7pm Friday night and plan to have your parents pick you up Saturday by 11am.

What to bring: Tent (if you have one), sleeping bag, flashlight, chips or soda to share
We Provide: Hot dogs, smores supplies, and a whole lotta XStream life.

Middle School DelGrosso's Trip Wednesday, August 18
We'd like to meet at 11 at Calvary. You'll want to pack a lunch to save a little money. It will cost you$15 to get in, plus whatever spending $ you need, and enough $ for dinner in the park. You'll be able to hit the water rides, so bring a set of dry clothes/swim clothes/towel if you want.We should be back at Calvary at 8:15, so you can have your parnets pick you up there.

Don't forget your permission form! If you're planning to attend, email or call Stac at 814-280-6388 so that we can make sure we have enough transportation! Feel free to invite a friend!

Does anyone check this to see if there are updates? If so, I'll bet you're pretty frustrated. Maybe you've given up hope that there will be signs of life here. Ever...

But let me say that the Lord is doing something in my heart. I am alive today. There are literally hundreds of promises from God that he wants me-you-us to apply to our lives.

Here's one: The kingodm of God is like a party, thrown by the Host with the Most. And you are on the VIP guest list.

Oh yes, there is a party. You are invited, because you are wanted. Jesus wants you. He loves you. He loves you and he wants you. Think about that for a few minutes today. Know that. Believe that. Let that make its way into your heart.

Whew! It's good to be home!
Kim and I were in Dallas for a Mary Kay seminar, and it was awesome! I'm not even kidding. The company is founded on Christian values, and it was almost like a spiritual retreat. I was so impressed.
