Oh yes!

Kevin Kelly outlasted Florida State's Gary Cismesiato win the 2005 Orange Bowl. It wasn't pretty tonight, but Penn State football is back, baby.

Paul Posluszny
might have messed his right knee up in the 4th quarter. We'll have to wait and see.

I just talked to my buddy Nick Daise--he answered his phone on the Orange Bowl field! Willie Reid was the game MVP. But we won!

Lots of our guys had big games. Jordan Norwood made some great catches to keep drives alive. Tim Shaw played solid defense, especially when Puz went down. And a HUGE HAT TIP to Austin Scott, who had 40 carries for 163 yards for the season. Tonight was a different story, as he stepped in to replace an injured Tony Hunt (left ankle). Scott stepped up and provided some early pop for the PSU offense, finishing the game with 109 yards and 2 tds on 26 carries. Good stuff...

Come on, Kev! You can do it!

Just watching (with knots in my stomach) as Penn State and Florida State play into the 2nd overtime. Kevin Kelly just missed his second field goal of less than 30 yards, both of which would have won the game. I'll bet he wants to hide somewhere. That's a tough spot for a freshman...

On the Florida State side of the ball, they've played pretty well. Willie Reid (graduated from my high school, btw) has a punt return for a touchdown.

touchdown us, touchdown them...3rd overtime is starting.
